The various stages of lockdown and the constant fear of the virus affecting the lives of thousands and thousands every day only led to further panic and setbacks. All fields and sections along with people from all walks of life had setbacks derailing them from their goals and causing them difficulty in fulfilling responsibilities.

However, come what may, life goes on and there is no choice but to adapt and progress.

Steady Contact and Engagement

Principal Sumitra Mitter understood that these are difficult times and the parents who are now having to sit and supervise the students sitting for the scheduled classes online must have a lot of queries regarding their progress and troubles that need guidance.

Presenting the parents an opportunity to contact the authorities and teachers via functioning contact details, video messages, messages uploaded on the e-Notice board, etc has immensely helped the parents and the students with their reservations and queries.

Students who are present during the classes may have certain issues with the assignments or queries regarding the subject matter being taught currently are urged to approach their teachers. Student-teacher engagement is essential in order to ensure that progress is actually being made by the students.

Following COVID Protocols

In an effort to successfully ensure that the students continue to remain on the receiving end of quality teaching that Sumitra Mitter ANS strives to impart, the authorities are religiously following the COVID protocols and safety precautions that the state authorities are stating. Teachers and students with good health will certainly be a positive factor for the school’s future endeavours.
